Jeanne Ann Jones

Jeanne Ann "Jeannie" Jones, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at the age of 83. Jeannie was born on February 21, 1943, to William Evan Thomas and Bernadine Frances Henley. She shared 48 wonderful years with the love of her life, Clint Jones, building a life centered on love, family, and devotion. A dedicated caregiver, Jeannie earned her bachelor's degree in nursing and proudly served as a registered nurse at the Veterans Affairs Hospital. Jeannie found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved listening to 50’s rock and roll, especially the music of Elvis Presley and The Beatles, and her favorite color was red. She enjoyed watching old movies, reading paperback, savoring chocolate malts, and watching air shows. Her laughter was often inspired by her children and the animals she loved. Above all else, Jeannie's greatest joy was her family. She cherished every moment spent with her children and will be remembered for the deep love she had for them. She also had a strong love for her country and instilled in those around her the values of hard work, perseverance, and the importance of "keeping all your ducks in a row." She is survived by her husband Clint Jones; her children Tracy Lynne Jones of El Reno, Oklahoma and Beau Clinton Jones of El Reno, Oklahoma; siblings Doug Thomas (Dianne Holston) of Midwest City, Oklahoma, David Thomas of Midwest City, Oklahoma and Dennis Thomas (Flo Thomas) of Midwest City, Oklahoma. Jeannie is preceded in death by her parents William Evan Thomas and Bernadine Frances Henley.

Visitation will be held at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141, US, on July 8, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Graveside Service will take place at Arlington Memory Gardens, 3400 N Midwest Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73141, US, on July 9, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
