The sun set on the earthly life of Jennie Lee "Rusty" Nix Saturday, January 15, 2022 rising to meet her Lord in Heaven. Born to John Wesley and Lillian Cleona Mills October 5, 1930 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Jennie had two brothers, Perry and John Wesley II. All were proud to be Moore High School Morons. As a young woman, Jennie worked with her mother at Dodson's Cafeteria, KLPR Radio in Capitol Hill and Sally's Cafe in Clinton, Oklahoma.
She married Gene Nix in 1955. Together they had five children Cynthia, Catherine, Ricky, Gene Jr. and Tammara. She loved baking, decorating her home, gardening and sewing for her family. When the boys were old enough she became a Den Mother for Cub Scout Pack 22. Jennie lived a rewarding life reaching the age of 91. She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Gene Nix, Sr. and daughter Cynthia Anne Miller. She is survived by 4 children, 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, a brother in Texas, many nephews and a niece. She will be missed by her family, many friends and cats.

Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 21, 2022 at the
