I’ve been at a loss for words....Jerry was my favorite patient. I had the pleasure of caring for him for the past 16 months as his home health nurse. He shared all the great stories of his life, how proud he is of his family and how much he missed his beloved wife. I will miss seeing his smiling face but I know he is so happy in heaven with his loved ones. Until we meet again Jerry. Love, Karla

Mr. Hancock was one of our Mobile Meals clients for many years. Ever the gracious gentleman, he was a favorite with his positive attitude.

I was just notified by one of our Meals on Wheels drivers of Jerry’s passing. I remember the first time I met Jerry. He came to the door with the biggest smile on his face and by the time I left I had a new friend. He was always so pleasant and friendly and was a truly lovely person. I am so sorry for your loss.

I delivered Saturday Mobile Meals to Rheta and Jerry for several years. Jerry was clearly my favorite of my many deliveries through the years. I always looked forward to our visits. We both shared a love of cats. He was the neighborhood feeder of the feral cats. I am sorry to hear of his passing and your loss. I know that all who knew him will miss him.
My sincerest sympathies, Rita Hejny
