In remembrance of Jerry, also known as Pawpaw to many. He passed away at the age of 88 in his home on Monday, June 8th while his brother Stanley and his wife Bernice were here visiting. Jerry was a family man who loved playing canasta and dominoes. He did love to watch his sports and really had missed it lately. Jerry loved working in the yard; it was hard to give it up when he was not able to do it any longer. He was an OU graduate and worked for American Airlines for many years before going to work for Kerr McGee. Jerry married the love of his life, Dorethia, on September 9, 1950. He will be joining her and two of his children in Heaven; Ronal Gene his oldest son, Terry Lynn his youngest daughter and a nephew, Aaron. He will also be joined with his parents; Leroy and Mary and two sisters; Barbara and Lila and nephew, Brian at Heaven’s gate. Jerry is survived by his daughter, Linda, her daughter Stacy and her two children; Skylar and Kayla. Also by his youngest son, Jerry and his wife Caroline and their daughter, Natalie. He is also survived by Ronal’s wife, Donna and their boys; John, Aaron, and Alfred, his little brother, Stanley and his children; Amy and Adam. Viewing for Pawpaw will be held Sunday June 14th from 12-8 at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper. A Graveside Service will be held Monday June15th at 11am at Rose Hill Burial Park.
