Many  of us know you through Clint's writing and comments but you shown through as a good and loving man.  You made Clint's life complete while he described your and Amy's foibles and successes enlightening our lives.
Go to your peace free of suffering knowing that you will be missed by many.

Only through Clint's writings and jokes and photos on line did so many of us know you, Jerry. Added to that what your neighbors have writ of you on here, you must have been as patient as Job, and as loving and strong of spirit and compassion as a mortal ever can be. We will all miss hearing about you, unless Clint starts telling ancient "Tales out of school" as he loves to do. You have though, left Clint and Amy  in good hands, with Our Lord ("Grandfather") to care for them, and each  with the other, Clint and the "posse" to watch over each other (for no better earthly nanny is there for a human than a Boston terrier). 

Whose child was this, of earth and dust, with none but HIM in whom to Trust? 
This one is Jerry, now beyond pain, we pray, in the house of The Lord, where to God be the Kingdom, and the Power, and the Glory for ever.

Jerry was like a second brother to me. He had that ability to make you laugh or want to push him off into the pool. He and Clint were really the odd couple.  I think the series must have been written about these two guys. Loved him a lot and will miss him more.  Just a super nice guy.

I'm speechless...there just are no words.  For all his suffering, I glad he is at peace but Jerry leaves behind a hole in our hearts.  God Bless him - and Clint who so faithfully nursed and loved him thru life's travails.  Much Love, nate

Dearest Jerry, in heaven, We did not get to know your sweet soul long enough.  Always connected June 22, the birth of your artificial heart and my youngest daughter.  Clint and I share the same birthday, Oct. 29.  A difficult one this year.  You were always so kind to us.  When my girls lost their kitty, you left "the Rainbow Bridge" poem in our box to comfort them.  Anytime they had a school fundraiser, you guys always contributed generously, gave my girls bday gifts and treats.  When you made stew, you always brought some by.   You always invited us in and made us feel welcome, as you and Clint are always welcome in our home.  I could always knock on the door for medical advice from Clint, thank you.   Wish we would have had more time with you, Jerry.  Thank you Clint for telling me when it was time to say goodbye.  Clint,  when you are ready, come by, if you need ANYTHING, call or come by.  Such a great example of heart you both exhibit.  We are going to miss that ornery fellow.  He always made us smile.  Peace and comfort be with you.  The world has lost a great man and heaven now has another angel.

Two men who touched my life deeply,it's been several years since we first connected on that other site and.then we all moved enmasse to LO together and it was a great support system for all of us, so many that joined our group for a little while and others that have stayed for years and always the nucleus of our group has been Clint and Jerry like kind and benevolent uncles to us all,we have all been shown the Love of these two Darling men. Jerry we will all miss you terribly but none will miss you as much our Sweet Clint, we will all try to watch out for him and keep showing him just how much he means to us.  Until we can all,finally meet together face to face for a glass of beer or cup of coffee we will try to keep an eye on him for you.  BigHuggs

What can I say about my friend and neighbor, Jerry? Always quick with a smile and a laugh, eager to lend a hand, or tools (!) or encouragement. I'll certainly miss that mischievous twinkle in his eye, slightly twisted sense of humor, and conversations about everything and nothing--usually ending in laughter. Could he be grumpy? Heck yes. Was he human and fallible? Most definitely. But, right in the center of this man was a mushy, gooey center of sweet kindness and light. He was a fine and decent human being, whom I was privileged to know for only a short while, but I'll sure miss him for a long, long time.

I had the privilege of "knowing Jerry" vicariously through my interactions with his spouse, Clint, via the internet.  I regret the fact that I didn't get to meet them while my parents lived in NW Arkansas, as from there, Clint and Jerry were only a short distance from where my parents lived.
The loss of a Loved One is always difficult, yet they continue to Live on when we keep them in our Hearts and daily activities. I hope that Jerry remains there, in Clint's Heart, for a long time, as  many of Clint's friends will attest, Clint's a handful  and we need all of the help keeping Clint in line' in the months and years ahead (LOL) . . . Rest in Peace, Jerry  you're finally pain free . . . . .

Although I've not had the privilege to meet Jerry (or Clint and Amy), I have had the extreme privilege of knowing you via LO. I do know that I learned quickly of the deep love and devotion, the 'posse', and the role models Jerry and Clint exhibit (although probably unknowingly) are simply by 'being'. Jerry was known by far more than will be realized, respected by more than will be known, and will be mourned by more than will be expressed.  Rest in peace dear man and watch over Clint and Amy, as I know you will.

I had the privilege of knowing this fine man for a decade.    Wish it had been longer as I do feel cheated out of knowing him better.    Condolences to all of his family who loved him so deeply. Jerry and I loved to talk to each other, especially when it gave us an excuse to stop doing our yardwork and take a break.  I loved hearing about his past escapades and businesses with Clint. We loved talking about our dogs.  When I was sick, Jerry was my "Meals on Wheels".  Actually, he would bring me meals many other times as well, because he knew I hate to cook. Our garage sales were crazy.  Jerry practically gave his things away.  I purchased many items from him and Clint, and still have them all. I will miss his sense of humor, we always wound up in deep laughter with our conversations. It was great being his Kathryn Way neighbor.  Love you, Jerry

A wonderful neighbor, a watchful eye, a kind smile, and a friend always ready to help.  
We find hope in the teaching of Romans 8:39 - ... Neither height nor depth, not anything else in all creation, will separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

"Grandfather" (the Great Spirit) allowed Amy & I to take care of Jerry at home, as he wished. He took my hand & said: "Clint, I'm leaving now." I knew his other hand was being held by his beloved mother, Opal...to God be the glory!

Jerry was a wonderful friend and such a sweet man. He was always there to lend a hand or to give me advice when I needed it. I always loved our visits together and walked away smiling after ever one.  He was silly and made me laugh. I thought the world of Jerry, there will never be anyone else like him. I will miss him always!

Chuck and I really thought the world of Jerry he was very kind and always ready for a hug and kiss which I gave glady because I could.  He will be really missed by us. Chuck and Katie Pomeroy

Jerry was like my uncle. I loved him dearly and will miss him even more. He was a good man and was always very kind to me. I have many fond memories of him. He will be miss greatly.
