Jimmie Dale Aduddell

Jimmie Dale Aduddell, 81, went to be with Jesus on March 12, 2013 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Jim was born July 26, 1931 in Choctaw, OK to Earl and Georgia (Whitaker) Aduddell.

He attended Choctaw Schools graduating in 1949. After graduation, he was employed by Oklahoma Highway Department until he was drafted in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was employed 33 years at Tinker Air Force Base retiring in 1986. Jim married Ruby Start on January 28, 1955 and they have one daughter, Pam Felkner. Jim was a member of Community Fellowship Church of the Nazarene, Waco, TX. He was a dedicated Christian and served his church and community in Oklahoma and Texas until his illness worsened. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a true servant of God and others. A man of profound faith and spirituality, and because of those and many other wonderful attributes, he shaped the lives of many by his examples.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Jerral, Hoyt and Duane Aduddell; two sisters, Reba Mielke and Freda Richardson. Survivors include his wife, Ruby; daughter, Pam Felkner; granddaughter, Melissa Felkner; grandson, Chris Felkner; great-grandson, Preston Felkner; son-in-law, Butch Felkner; sisters, Thelma Taff and husband Bob and Stella Joiner.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel. Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens. Condolences may be offered at

Ruby and Pam, my condolences to you on Jimmie's passing. I remember him as the kindest man with infinite patience for all the girls running through the house in Midwest City.

So very sorry to hear of Jimmie's passing. He is a man that I will never forget. He was a man who loved God with all of his heart. Just a few of the words that come to mind when I think of him, Kind, Caring, Loving, and with a heart of Compassion. He will be missed by many. Prayers of comfort and peace for the family.
