

Jimmy Joe Flinn, 58 year-old resident of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away on October 3, 2013 in Chicago, Illinois. Born October 23, 1954 in Minco, Oklahoma, he was the son of Jerry Columbus Flinn, Jr. and Patsy Louise Dearing Flinn. Jimmy was a radio communications specialist in the U. S. Navy and had used his Master’s Degree in Psychology to help with drug and alcohol counseling. He loved Hawaii; traveling; and sports. His teams were the New York Yankees and OU Sooners. Survivors include his wife Kanokpan (Duangthamma) Flinn of the home; 2 sons, Johnny Lee and his wife Jennifer Flinn of Virginia; and James Anthony and his wife Carle Santelli of Stillwater, Oklahoma; 2 daughters, Jessica Catherine and her husband John Millwee of Perry, Oklahoma; and JoAnna Eliouse and her husband Terry Munroe of Fordland, Missouri; 5 grandchildren, Sadie Cheney; Melody Cheney; Connor Flinn; Jayson Munroe; and Anthony Santelli; 2 brothers, Jerry Lynn Flinn of Choctaw, Oklahoma; and Jackie Dean Flinn of Choctaw, Oklahoma; and one sister, Regina Fatih Pittman of Jones, OK; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with Pastor David Cressman officiating at the service. Military honors were rendered by the U. S. Navy Honors Detail.
