Joan DeCarlo

Joan DeCarlo passed away December 8, 2019. Joan was born June 20, 1933 in Newark, New Jersey to Michael Baccaro and Rose (Martino) Baccaro. Joan graduated from Westside High School in Newark New Jersey.

Joan married John Joseph DeCarlo and together they raised four children. Joan loved her grandchildren and spending time at the Jersey shore. Joan enjoyed word searches, crossword puzzles, and playing canasta. Joan raised her family in South Plainfield, New Jersey and retired to Tarpon Springs, Florida and Seaside Park, New Jersey, before moving to Oklahoma in 2012.

Joan is preceded in death by her father, Michael Baccaro; mother, Rose (Martino) Baccaro; husband, John Joseph DeCarlo and son, John Michael DeCarlo.

Joan is survived by her sister, Anna Rose Walton of Tarpon Springs, Florida; son, James DeCarlo of Seaside Park, New Jersey; daughter, Joanne and husband Kent Hallsten of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; son, Michael and wife, Joy DeCarlo of East Brunswick, New Jersey; daughter-in-law, Kathleen DeCarlo of Toms River, New Jersey; grandchildren, John, Ian, Tim, Ken, David, Nicholas DeCarlo, Anthony Hallsten, and Kaitlyn Johnson and great grandchildren, Dominic and John Parker DeCarlo, Jillian, Cassidy, Riley, and RJ Johnson.

Graveside services will be held at Saint Joseph Cemetery in Toms River, New Jersey at a later date.
