

Joan was born in Cranston, Rhode Island, on October 13, 1939. At the age of two, John and Gertrude Bouchard adopted her. Later, as an adult, she discovered her biological parents, Elizabeth Dudson and Samuel Snow. She attended Cranston High School.
She met and married the love of her life in 1961. Together, they moved to Ohio, South Carolina, Florida, California, and finally to Oklahoma. She was employed as a bookkeeper for a wholesale florist company in California and worked various jobs at Hobby Lobby.
She was a member of Lighthouse Four Square Church for 23 years, where she made many lifelong friends. Before moving to El Reno, she lived at Hillcrest Senior Center for 20years and left behind many friends.
She loved spending time with her big family, reading mysteries, watching various murder shows, and big band music. Joan will be remembered for her love of God, unwavering support of loved ones, and the ability to see the good in everyone.
Her children survive Joan, Vickie Franklin and husband Pete, Crystal Snyder and partner Dorsey Meyers, Dawn Brady and husband Richard, Wendy Burnett, and husband Wess. She also leaves behind thirteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren, three siblings, Bobbie Pine and husband Arvin, Paul Cosores and wife Janet, Steve Snow and wife Wileen, one sister-in-law, Jackie Davis, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are her parents, stepfather George Dewsnap, and her biological parents. Her husband, her son Ralph Henry Richardson II (Hank), a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Norman Kratzert, a granddaughter, Donel Lyons, two grandsons, Jerry Lyons and K.C. Lyons, and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
The Memorial Service will be on Saturday, November 22nd, at 12:00 p.m. at Empower Church at 208 S.E. 70th, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73149.
The family asks that you wear something purple, if possible.
