I am an OU retiree who retired last July. I met several times with John over the past two years planning my retirement, and exchanged numerous phone calls and emails over the past year. I so appreciated how helpful he was. He worked very hard to advocate for me and other retirees from OU to assure retirement would be smooth. I am so sorry to learn of his death. I know he was looking forward to retiring and am so sorry he did not have more time to enjoy it.
