John Jacob Mayes, 40, of OKC passed from this life on Jan 29, 2018. Services have been entrusted to the care of Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services and a service celebrating his life will be held on Sat, Feb 3, 2018 at the funeral home chapel located at 7720 S. Penn in OKC.
John was born on July 14, 1977 in OKC to James and Penny (Goodson) Mayes and was raised in S. OKC. He enjoyed listening to music, watching professional wrestling, and he loved his four children very much. He was preceded in death by his mother Penny Goodson and his grandma Violet Tevis. John is survived by his four wonderful children: Jeremiah, Alicya, Patrick, and Christian Mayes; father James Mayes; grandpa Jim Mayes; grandma Carol Ashmore; two half-brothers: Christopher and Joshua Mayes; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
