Jonathan “JB” Scott Barnett, 39, passed away September 1, 2012 in Oklahoma City. He was born in Okarche, Oklahoma on December 29, 1972 to Jerry and Carol Barnett, and grew up in Oklahoma City graduating from Putnam City North High School. JB enjoyed racing motorcycles and bicycles and could often be heard saying “If you ain’t first, you’re last!” He also had a love for singing and playing guitar. He will always be remembered for being a loving husband, father and son and as someone who loved to have a good time and thought of himself as a rock star. Surviving JB is his wife Barbie, two children, River and Jordan, two stepchildren Allison and Lisa Jackson, parents Jerry and Carol, a sister Alisa Haynes and niece Ryan Haynes. JB had a love for Jehovah. He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.
