Judith Ann Sharp, lifelong resident of Oklahoma City returned home to her Lord and Savior on August 7, 2014. Born on June 25, 1940, “Ann” graduated from Classen High School and married the love of her life, Benny H. Sharp, who predeceased her last year.
During the 1960s, she worked as a fashion model for designers and retailers and as clerical support for the Western Electric Oklahoma City Works. An artist at heart, she later started a successful ceramics business and worked as a floral arranger for several boutiques.
Living and modeling her faith, she donated countless hours to her church and those in need. Many will remember her smile and joyful heart during her years in the Metropolitan Baptist Church library. Her infectious laugh lifted the spirits of all who were around her. She loved her family and there never will be a more fun grandmother.
She is survived by her two sons, Jeffery, of State College, PA, and Wesley, of Mustang, as well as five grandchildren and three nieces.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 15, 2014, at Metropolitan Baptist Church.
Arrangements under the direction of Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral Directors, Oklahoma City, OK.
