Kathey Arlene Beebe

Kathey Arlene Beebe, age 69 of Oklahoma City, passed from this life on March 3, 2019. Services have been entrusted to the care of Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services located at 7720 S. Pennsylvania Ave. in Oklahoma City. A memorial service honoring Kathey’s life will take place on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the funeral home.

Kathey was born on January 12, 1950 in Elk City, OK to Joseph H. and Mildred A. (Burnam) Tosh. She attended schools in Elk City, graduating high school with the class of 1968. She met and married Larry Street and together they had one son, Cory Street. After high school she went to the Western Oklahoma Area Vo-Tech School Division of Practical Nursing in Burns Flat where she worked hard to put herself through school. It was there that she graduated with the class of 1978 and earned her certification to become a licensed practical nurse – something that she was extremely proud of. In the early 80s she met and married Claude Beebe and together they had a son, Paul Christopher Beebe. Throughout her career she worked at various clinics. In 1988, she moved to Oklahoma City where she managed the OKC Clinic in Midwest City. She retired in 2000 after many years of hard work and dedication.

Kathey was a woman of many interests, but some of her favorites included garage sales and her salsa garden. She loved growing tomatoes, peppers, onions and cilantro. She also cared tremendously for her dogs – Jobi, Jules and Bella. She will be remembered as a fiercly independent woman who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kathey was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Tosh; Sisters, Janet Marple and Barbie Mitschelen and nephew, Mark Lee Williams.

She is survived by her sons, Cory Street and Paul Beebe; Mother, Mildred Robson; sisters, Connie Williams and Anita Skelton, as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other beloved family and friends.
