

Kathryn Maye Clark went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 22, 2021. She was born in Konawa, OK, on August 5, 1944, to parents O. C., and Captola Winton. She graduated Vamoosa High School in 1961, then went on to attend East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, graduating with a Masters Degree in Education. She then taught a glorious 32 years beginning her career at Indian Meridian Elementary, teaching 3rd grade, then becoming the music teacher, and eventually transferring to Westfall Elementary where she retired in 1998.
Not only was Kathryn known to be a school teacher, she was most notable for her ability to play the piano and sing the Gospel. She utilized those Gifts to become a licensed ordained minister through the Assemblies of God. When she wasn’t teaching, she and her family would tour all of Oklahoma, holding Kids Crusades, singing and spreading the Gospel to young Children, and Men and Women alike for 25 plus years. Also, early in her career she would release several albums singing and spreading the Word of God. During her spare time, when she was not teaching and holding Kids Crusades, she would also enjoy reading and traveling the World with her family.
Kathryn is survived by her loving husband, Ronnie Clark, who she married on May 24, 1969. They had their first child, Deanna, who only lived for 21 days before going to Heaven. After many prayers and support, they were able to adopt their first son, Lenny from Chicago, IL. Secondly, Ronald Lee from Seoul, South Korea and lastly, preceding in Kathryn’s death, Michelle from Syracuse, NY. She is also survived by three beautiful grandchildren, Anthony Michael Clark, Moriah Marie Clark-Dismuke, and Taurus Clark (Marquis); and two great-grandchildren, Nova Michelle Grant and Messiah Marquis Grant. She is also survived by her only sibling, Nora Ellen Eberle and her spouse, Claude Eberle, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and grand alike.
Visitation for Kathryn Clark will be held Thursday, August 26th, at Bill Eisenhower Funeral home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141, from the hours of 4-8pm. Service will be held this Friday, August 27th, 2021, at Bethel Christian Center, in Choctaw, 3254 N. Choctaw Rd, Choctaw, OK 73020. A brief graveside service will follow.
