Katrina Rachelle Meadows

Katrina Meadows (66), of Newalla, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 24, 2025. She was born on April 8,1958, in Lubbock, TX, to Charles E. Kriss and Eva L. Kriss.

Katrina graduated from Cache High School in May 1976 in Cache, OK.

On August 28, 1975, she married Roy Meadows. They were married for 49 1/2 years. Together, they welcomed a daughter, Paula, in 1975, and a son, Stephen, in 1979. They moved from Cache to Oklahoma City, where they lived for 45 1/2 years.

Katrina worked for Mid-Del Schools for over 20 years, serving as the secretary at East Side Elementary before transitioning to the Administration building to complete her career.

In early 2015, Katrina was diagnosed with frontotemporal lobe dementia. With the loving support of her husband and family, she was able to remain at home until her passing.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Eva Lee Kriss; her niece, Whitney Hanza; her grandparents, Mary and Elton Kriss, and Loveda and Jessie Jones.

Katrina is survived by her husband, Roy Meadows, of the home; her daughter Paula and son-in-law Brian Brinlee of Choctaw; her son Stephen and daughter-in-law Misty Meadows of Choctaw; and her grandchildren, Kassidy and Braden Brinlee of Choctaw, and Braxton and Brenna Meadows of Choctaw. She is also survived by her sister Karla and her husband Denis Hammit of Elgin, her brother Chuck and his wife Donna Kriss of Cache, and her sister Kassi and her husband Mark Tate of Lawton.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church Cache in Cache, Oklahoma.
