I was saddened to see this. I was thinking of Keith recently and had from time to time attempted to contact him but never did. I knew Keith only for a short time, but in that time he gave me something that has become my most material prized possession of my life.  I was a bar tender back in the mid eighties with very little money and got to know him through a friend. One night he was sitting at my bar and he wanted me to paint a mural in his home and asked me what it would cost him. I told him I would trade him for his prized Martin guitar I had seen collecting dust at his house. He really had to think about it, but then realized I would put it to better use than he would. He generously agreed. I told him I would not fail to play that instrument weekly if not daily and that I would never sell it. Keith- I have kept my end of the bargain buddy! What a source of joy and comfort that guitar has brought to my life and my family over the the past 28 years!
He also had me draw a portrait of his brother which meant so much to him. It was a special moment.

Though we only saw each other a few times, we will be forever connected by the kindness he showed me.
