I was a student at TC and Kelly was amazing. She pushed me to do the best and was always there for me as a staff member and friend. I dont know if i wouldve made it without her. Her smile lit the whole room up! I will never forget that laugh! I will love her always!

I did not know Kelly but I lost a son 10 years ago so I know what pain you are in. My heart goes out to her parents and loved ones. It is a loss that will remain with you the rest of your life but knowing she is in heaven is the one thing that will give you peace in times of grief.  God Bless all of you during this time.

My beautiful sister, I miss you so much right now. I'm so proud of what you did with your time here! Your life and legacy are truly amazing! Thank you for being my friend and being there for me through everything! I'm comforted in the fact that you're with The Lord today! You made it! You impacted my life more than I can say. I will miss you every single day of my life on earth but I know I will see you again! Until then...

I so remember Kelly running up and down the halls of Navajo!!  So full of life... I hadn't seen her in a long time, but kept with her on Facebook... seeing her trials and triumphs... It is so true, even though we didn't keep in close contact I knew we could meet on the street and take off talking and laughing as if we had been together daily.  We will all miss her... her smile... her laugh....  After having lost my son, sister, mom and dad, what I know is that grieving is for the living.  And heaven becomes a much sweeter place.  When I lost Jonathon I cried and prayed, "Please don't his death be in vain.  Do in me what you can in and through this.  Touch others through the story of his life..." and as I sat in her service today I knew that this would be the same.  That her death will not be in vain if we allow God to do in us what only a living God can do. That the story of her life will continue to touch others for years to come.... the ripple effect of Kelly started small, but will grow into a Tsunami of love, laughter, and experiencing Jesus.

I knew Kelly for about a month but she was one of those people that it didn't matter if you knew her for 10 years or 10 minutes....your gonna love her! I had so much fun with her on vacation. She definitely kept everyone laughing and entertained. You could see the joy all over her the whole time we were there. She went from showing me how to put fake eye lashes on to a totorial on how to fix your hair in a bun to making broadcast videos of the whole trip. We had a couple of deep talks and we share some of the same depth of struggles...with saying that she encouraged and blessed me more than she could ever know! She had a deep love for God that was unshakable. I will miss her and her witty lovable personality, her contagious laugh and smile, and her passion for God and living for Him! She definitely left an impact on my life! I pray for all her family and friends for comfort and peace and that we would all continue to live out her passion!

Kelly I met you at my daughter Jaimee Tollefsons home in Ok, she had talked to you about my entering The FREEDOM house and you came that night to talk to me about your experience there. I just recall looking into those gorgeous Blue eyes that seemed to look right through my soul. You were SO kind yet quick to point out that you can't wait to go or you find excuses why you don't really need to go. You told me to Pray about it and we stood there outside while you put your hands on me and started Praying. The next time I saw you was at Jay Assembly and again you stepped out into the isle and you and Jaimee started Praying over me, I was very touched by the Love in your heart for people hurting! broken spirits and the lost. I didn't know you as well as others but I see the Legacy you left behind and The many Life's you have touched in such a short time! What a Beautiful woman of God you were, it was all over you!! I am better for knowing you Kelly??

Kelly was the best roommate I have ever had. I don't become fast friends with many but we clicked instantly and she was a huge blessing for me. She encouraged me, prayed with me, loved me and shared her amazing spirit with me. My prayers are with all who love Kelly, we need to be strong in god and together. Kelly's spirit and smile could light up a room, and we know she is dancing with wings on streets of gold now. Kelly I love you and miss you so much.

I'm flooded with emotions today. We at Teen Challenge have been on the roller coaster since we got the devastating news. We've cried, screamed, prayed and laughed. I still don't want to accept your gone. I know some things though...there will NEVER be another Kelly Caton, my life has been blessed by her, she has been a blessing to so many, her life and legacy will continue, some of her legacy will be eternal as she led many to the Lord. She tried so many times to quit, I chuckle even to say it, God wouldn't let her and she would huff back in my office and say I'm not going anywhere. She would pick herself up and and not just keep going but would do it with passion....praying, counseling, laughing, and fighting for herself and those she loved. Our girl didn't know how strong she was, but God did. He pushed her and stretched her and grew her into such a beautiful woman. Caton family, Thank you for loaning her and letting us all be a part of her life. She loved all of you so much and was determined to to be the daughter, sister, and friend she should be. You are all in our prayers as you move through the painful process of grief... our hearts are with you. We look forward to being with her again someday. Blessings!

Dear Ms. Kelly, my family will always be greatful to God for you.  You are a precious gift of love and wonderful example for so many young girls.  What a ROCK you are for so many girls at Teen Challenge and for us.  Thank you so very much for pouring your life into our daughter, Melissa Aukema, who needed you, loved you and will miss you terribly. Thank you for being there for her when I couldn't be there.  Thank you for praying with her, crying with her and laughing with her.  I thank God in Heaven that we will see you again one day. My heart is hurting Kelly. You were such a sweet friend to me and we kept it real. Our time in ministry at Teen Challenge together will forever be in my heart. You were so thirsty for knowledge and to gain experience-- you always wanted to be the very best for those kids. You would never settle for just being an "okay" staff member... you knew what was at stake. There was never a time that I'd come back to visit when you didn't make me feel like the most important person to you! You loved with your whole heart and I wish I would've just come back and worked a few more shifts with you like you begged me to! I love you Kelly! Enjoy your time worshipping the one you love most!

Ive known kelly for the last few years from church.  She was an inspiration for her love of God which was evident every time I saw her. She was a blessing to the kids she worked with and all her friends and family here.  She is missed and loved. Praying for healing comfort.  God Bless You.

To be absent from the body is to present with the Lord... What a lovely addition to heaven's great cloud of witnesses! What joy there will be when we all gather where Kelly is never to say goodbye again!!

Dear Kelly, I never knew you, nor will I now. I have never met your father, nor any of your family.  Yet somehow in all this wonderful God stuff - we already have - we already did.  I have shared something so precious through your death.  Something so loving through your life.  The only answer I have is God stuff - and a lot of wonder.  Right now those who knew you, who knew you to talk to - they are hurting so very bad. Their pain connects.  Their loss is huge.  Their love is huge.

Wayne had already left home when I went to church with the Catons.  Although I did not know Wayne and his family, we are connected through our lives in Christ.  I am proud of all that Kelly achieved in her life.  What a testimony of God's amazing love and grace.  No doubt Tom is having a wonderful reunion with his granddaughter.  Words are never adequate. Kelly was our son's counselor at Brush Creek. I cannot say enough about what a big heart she had. Even while Blake was on Summer pass he still asked to talk to Kelly. She had such a heart for these boys and more importantly, for The Lord. We are so thankful that she had such an impact on not only Blake but our lives. We are so terribly sorry for your loss but rejoice in knowing she is in the arms of her Heavenly Father. I cannot imagine what you are going through. I am so sorry for your loss. My beautiful sweet Kelly.  Every time I've thought of you or heard your name I think of LAUGHTER! I think of your beautiful smile and your beautiful eyes! Kelly was my son's counselor at New Life House. She helped our entire family get through some very tough times. We grew so fond of her in a short time. She will be missed by so many. We love you Kelly!

Our human eyes see your temporary departure as cruel and beyond any comfort. Our spiritual eyes though know you have embarked upon a great adventure. My name is April Prentice and Kelly and I met when we were at Teen Challenge together in 2011.  Kelly was a woman after God's own heart.  I remember when I first got to TC, Kelly had been there a few months already and she was always so positive and outgoing.  She reached out to me when most people would run the other way (I was not very pleasant to be around) and she always called me "sister".  After I left TC, I relapsed and Kelly loved me right through it.  She was always sending me scripture and encouraging me...she was a light in my darkness.  She loved God so much! The most beautiful woman I have ever observed is the one who has exchanged a self-focused life for a Christ-focused one, and that was Kelly Marie Caton.

You are in my thoughts and prayers. She is in a better place

Your loss is one I cannot imagine. You will all be in my prayers. While I never met Kelly in person, I felt as if I knew her through Carolyn. Bless you all.

My beautiful cousin. Why does it take a death for us to wish things had been different? Wish we could've spent more time together over these years and wish I could've known you even better especially after you had grown so close to The Lord. I feel like I missed out on knowing you as much as I could. I love reading the memories everyone has posted of you and the laughter and encouragement you brought to so many. Heaven is truly sweeter everyday. I feel you were gone way too soon but we trust God to make all things good come from this tragedy in the ways that only He can.
