Kenneth L. Bridgeman, Major USMC, Ret., passed away April 3, 2014 in Oklahoma City, OK. Born October 29, 1943 in Weatherby, MO, he was the son of William Ellis and Mildred (McFee) Bridgeman. Kenneth was a Vietnam veteran and a retired Major in the United States Marine Corps. He had also retired from Boeing Company. Kenneth gave freely of himself and was always ready to help someone in need. He was a gifted carpenter, mechanic and loved to remodel kitchens, etc. He also enjoyed taking care of his yard. Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Bridgeman of 48 years, a daughter Mary Ann, and his parents. Survivors include his 2 sons, Ken and his wife Suzanne Bridgeman of Portland, TX; and Bill Bridgeman of OKC, OK; 2 grandchildren, Hope and Mason Bridgeman of Portland, TX; wife, Joann Bridgeman of the home and two sisters. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2014 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., OKC, OK 73141 with Reverend Andy James officiating. Full Military Honors will be rendered by the United States Marine Corps Honors Detail following the services.
