Lacey Marie Echeverry

July 29, 1988 – September 7, 2025

Lacey Marie Echeverry, 37, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away on September 7, 2025. She was born on July 29, 1988, in Providence, Rhode Island, to Sherry and Stanley Marion.

Lacey grew up in Warwick, Rhode Island, before moving to Ocala, Florida, during her senior year of high school. Soon after, she answered the call to serve her country and joined the United States Air Force, where she proudly served as a combat veteran. She made her home in Oklahoma, where she built a life centered on faith, family, and community.

Lacey was a devoted wife to her husband, Jeffrey, and a loving mother to Ethan and Vanessa. Her greatest joy was found in her children, and she poured her heart into their lives every day. A faithful servant of the Lord, Lacey was an active member of North Church, where she gave generously of her time and talents. For five years, she served in student ministry, mentoring and leading a group of young women who were deeply impacted by her faith and example. She also supported local charities and several military organizations.

Lacey loved reading, coloring, and playing board games with her family. She was creative, competitive, and full of life. Her passion for Jesus, her giving spirit, and her servant’s heart touched everyone who knew her. She brought joy, love, and laughter wherever she went, and her legacy will live on through the countless lives she inspired.

Lacey is survived by her husband, Jeffrey; their children, Ethan and Vanessa; and her parents. She is also survived by a wide circle of spiritual family and countless friends

whose lives were deeply touched by her love. Among them are her spiritual mother, Brenda Chrisman, and her mother-in-law, Sandra Vera, who faithfully cared for her for many years.

A funeral service for Lacey will be held Monday, September 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM at NORTH.CHURCH, 1601 W Memorial Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73134.
