Larry F. Campbell, 74, passed from this life to join with the Lord on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. He was born November 27, 1946 in Lawton, OK, the son of Lawrence and Faye (Young) Campbell. Larry graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1965. Following graduation, he served with the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. After leaving the service, he married his sweetheart, Vicki Evans. They celebrated 51 years of marriage in August. He was a diehard Cubbies fan and enjoyed sports especially OU football and basketball.
Larry was preceded in death by:
· his parents;
· his daughter, Dawna Noel (Campbell) Spurgin;
· and sister, Evelyn Bruno.
He leaves precious memories with:
· his wife, Vicki (Evans) Campbell;
· his son, James Bishop Campbell and his wife, Diana, of Oklahoma City;
· his six grandchildren, Chyenne Overturf, Brinklee Spurgin, Nathan Campbell, Landon Campbell, Alex Penland, and Ansley Penland;
· his two sisters, Bobbie Brooks and her husband, Doyle, of California, and Pat Zamora and her husband, Joe, of Mexico;
· his niece, Sarah Jane Synnott and children of Oklahoma City.
Burial will be private and scheduled at a later date.
