Larry was born December 22, 1948, and was adopted and raised by his grandparents Herman and Valta Mae Greb.
He was a graduate of Midwest City High School. He attended the Oklahoma Military Academy where he received an associate’s degree in military science and received a commission in the US Army Infantry at Central State College (UCO).
He was a lifelong resident of Oklahoma City where he made a career in law-enforcement to include the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office, Oklahoma County District Attorney’s Office, and the Bethany Police Department. After retiring from Lucent Tech as a section chief of security, he worked an additional 12 years as an air security officer for the US Marshall Service.
Larry is survived by his daughters Christy Echevarria and husband Alex, Amy Chance and husband Thaddeus, Ashley Campbell and husband Tommy, sister Gladys Talley, brother Cliff Price and grandchildren Rilee, Kate, Kylee, and Kellan.
A memorial service will be held at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper, located at 6600 Broadway Extension, Oklahoma City, OK, 73116. The service is scheduled for Sunday, January 11, 2026, starting at 3:00 pm.
