Suzie, Conor, and Larry's family and friends, it's been four years now, and I know losing Larry is as painful today as it was then. If words could replace your pain, I'd write a novel... a trilogy if that's what it would take... but I know that no words could ever fill that empty hole in your soul.  Just know that in spite of whatever circumstances may exist, you are loved and cared for. Hold onto your cherished memories of Larry, and remember that although you may sometimes feel differently, you are not alone. You have so many people who love and care about you, who support and pray for you, and I hope you hold onto those blessings as well as you remember Larry today. I love you, Suzie. Larry and I headed down to Sunset Cliffs for an evening surf secession.  It was a typical beautiful San Diego evening with scatter clouds in the sky turning red, yellow and gold as the sun continued to set.   The tide was high so we had to enter the water walking over the rocks and timing the surge to jump in.  After about an hour I no longer saw Larry out in the lineup.  looking back toward the shore I saw him,  I raised my hands up and waived,  he did the same with each piece of is board that had broken in half!  We ended the session with a cold beer(s) and some great stories (maybe a bit stretched) how we tore up the waves that evening. I’m so very sorry to hear about your sweet Larry.  Although I never met him I know from pictures and posts that he was an amazing fellow.  My heart goes out to you and Conor.  Many hugs and prayers to both of you.  May God grant you peace and comfort.
