

Larry Lee Rackleff, 71, passed away from this life on March 18, 2017. Larry was born on November 7, 1945 in Jones, OK to Willie E. and Elva Mae (Stafford) Rackleff. Larry grew up on a dairy farm helping his father with whatever he needed. He also loved fixing things whether it was working on cars or working around the house. In 1963 he joined the United States Navy Reserves and then graduated Jones High School in 1964. He served 2 years active duty and 4 years in the reserves. Family meant everything to Larry. He was very proud of his Native American heritage. He loved being outside whether it was camping, fishing, riding horses, or decorating his house for ANY holiday. Larry was a mechanic for Harrah School Systems and Walmart. He was a member of a sportsman’s club and had an extensive knife collection. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Janice and Sharon. Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years Maranitta Rackleff; children, Amy Laurent and husband David, and Ashlee Hickman and husband, Chris; grandchildren, Kira, Emilee, Miah, Taylor, and Ryan; his loyal dog, Buddy; and numerous other nieces, nephews, friends and other family members who will miss him dearly. A viewing will be from 12:00p.m.-8:00p.m., Wednesday March 22, 2017. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday March 23, 2017 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel with interment at Jones I.O.O.F Cemetery in Jones.
