

Leon dedicated his life to his family and country, serving honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Leon's career spanned several decades at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, where he retired as a manager. Leon was a passionate outdoorsman who loved fishing, traveling, and camping, sharing many adventures with his family and friends. He was an avid reader and in his later years wrote numerous short stories. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather.
Leon is survived by his daughter Tammy and husband Terry Wood of Edmond; granddaughters Teresa Wood of Edmond, Tara Wood, Tracey Harkess and her husband Benjamin Harkess of Oklahoma City; and grandson Larry Wayne Crosson Jr. of Ohio. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, Mary Louise Combs Crosson, sons Larry Wayne and Steven; parents, Earl and Mildred Crosson; brothers Lex, Loren, Don, and Larry Crosson; and sister Lois Bacher.
A memorial service to celebrate Leon's life will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Advantage Funeral Home, 7720 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Oklahoma City, OK.
