Leonard D'neen "Mike" Kidwell

Leonard “Mike” D’neen Kidwell, 79, went to his Heavenly home on March 1, 2011. Mike was born on September 5, 1931 to Joshua Earl and Goldie (Hilderbrand) Kidwell. Mike loved golfing, fishing, camping, and his vegetable garden. Mike was a member of First Baptist Church of Choctaw where he served faithfully for 50 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Traci Redwine; son in law, Willie Roberts; three sisters, Treva Brown, Jessie Radford, and Golda Oliver; four brothers, Dick, Albert, Don and Curtis Kidwell. Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Lorene; children, Patricia Miller and husband Duane, Sharon Roberts; sister, Francis Lacy; grandchildren, Justin Redwine, Kristy Trent, Jenny Mashore, Becky Edwards, Wade Pruitt; great-grandchildren, Traci and Triniti Redwine, Karson, Kinley, Maddox and Maverick Trent, Hannah and Carter Rose Boydston, Ellie and C.J. Edwards.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 5, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Choctaw. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, Oklahoma City, OK.
