I am so sorry to read of Lester Kenneth Groves Jr.'s passing. I am a charter member of Western Oaks Christian Church and I remember the whole Groves family well. Kenny and Sam and their sister Calena attended church there with my sons Mark, Darren & Michael Watts. They were all 3 such sweet kids. Kenny and Sam were very active in the Boy Scouts and achieved many high honors. Les, Mary and the kids were a great part of Western Oaks Christian Church several yrs. ago.
I send my deepest sympathy to the Groves family at this sad time.

First of all im very sorry or your loss. I knew Ken somewhat as we went to Metro Tech Aviation Career Center back in 1989. We were in the same Airframe class, going for our A&P license. He was very smart and an outstanding student, finishing at the top of the class. I never kept up with my classmates as they spread all over after school. I ended up at The FAA. I just saw his obituary and wanted to say a few words about him. Robert Tenpenny

Kenny was our across the street neighbor for all our early lives. He was the same age as my middle brother who was a good friend and running mate with Kenny . He was also the same age as my wife Penny and used to hang out with us sometimes. I remember playing trivial pursuit with Kenny one night and especially the questions on geography Kenny was amazing he just blew everbody away . We were like really! Kenny We will miss him a lot. Our sympathies and condolences. The Morgan family.
