

Lillian (Thomas) Lambakis born June 16, 1938, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on October 3, 2020 after battling Lewy Body Dementia for almost 5 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gus and Sophia (Thomopoulos) Thomas.
Lillian was in the first graduating class from North West Classen in 1956 and a graduate of Draughns Business College. She was a long time member of the St. George Greek Orthodox Church, were she served as church organist for 7 years, a long time member of the Ladies Philoptochos Society. She was employed as a secretary for Standard Life & Accident Insurance Co. from June 1956 to 1970. After being a stay at home mom for 16 years, raising her 3 sons, she went back to work in September 1986 as secretary of St. George Greek Orthodox Church, wherein she retired after 30 years of service. Lili was a very loving, compassionate and caring person, a very devoted mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her sons, Rev. Fr. Michael Lambakis and wife Renee of Houston, TX, Patrick Lambakis and wife Jesika of Mustang, OK and Christopher Lambakis and wife Duston of Yukon, OK, twin brother George Thomas of Oklahoma City, OK, and 5 grandchildren, Carson, Rayley, Andrew and Nicholas Lambakis and Hannah Lay. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. A special thank you to all of her doctors and nurses who provided quality care for her during her battle with Dementia.
