Linda was born in Oklahoma City in 1948 to Harold Edward Davenport and Wanda Bernice Davenport (nee McElhaney). She was the first daughter and fourth child of six children. While she was small in stature as a child, her siblings identified her as the boss.
Linda attended Willard Grade School and graduated from Central High School in Oklahoma City. She worked numerous jobs until becoming a book keeper for TG&Y. Linda retired from TG&Y after more than twenty years of service.
Linda married Donald Joe Keasler on June 20, 1968. The young couple started their married life with military service when Donald was assigned to a military base in North Carolina and Pennsylvania before being deployed to Vietnam. After their stint with the Marine Corp, the family settled in OKC. Their family grew with the addition of two sons, Donald Joe (DJ) and Billy Wayne Keasler. Linda enjoyed cooking and caring for her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her brothers Wesley Joe, Harold Lee and sister, Ruby Irene. She is survived by her brothers James Davenport and Otis Davenport; son, DJ Keasler; and grandchildren, Devon, Morgan and Chance Keasler, as well as, numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will miss her dearly.
A Visitation will be held at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 7720 South Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159, US, on August 4, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will take place at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 7720 South Pennsylvania Ave on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 10:00 am with a burial to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery, 4000 SE 29th Street, Del City, OK .
