Linda L. Link, 85 year-old resident of Choctaw, Oklahoma, passed away October 15, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. Born April 22, 1929 in Weleetka, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Tom Lee Pike and Norma Tinnie (McDermott) Pike. Linda was a very independent woman. She loved raising and racing thoroughbred horses; hunting and fishing; reading Louis L’Amour westerns; watching John Wayne movies; and her special buddy “Gus”, a Sheltie/Schnauzer mix. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Edward Link; 1 son, Larry L. Link; and 1 sister, Norma Lee “Bunny” Walker. Survivors include 1 daughter, Norma and her husband Tom McRae of Del City, OK; 2 granddaughters, Jennifer McRae of Springfield, MO; and Kasey McRae of Del City, OK; and 1 brother-in-law, Luther G. Walker. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, OK, 73141 with Reverend Greg Ball officiating.
