Lois Sutton, 83, of McLoud, Oklahoma passed away October 9, 2015. She was born April 2, 1932 in Fairfax, Missouri to Arthur and Marie (Friend) Cronk. Lois enjoyed her flower gardens, crochet, knitting, and in her younger years, ceramics. Many of the family members have beautiful samples of her crafts to enjoy and pass on the future generations. Lois loved family, friends, and strangers alike and no one left her presence without her telling them that she loved them. She had a special fondness for children and spent much time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and the neighborhood children that she took under her loving wing. Above all, Lois loved the Lord and could often be heard singing her favorite hymns or reading her Bible. She was a member of the former Sunrise Baptist Church in McLoud. We all know what a joyous day it was when Lois was reunited with her beloved husband, Jimmie, in the presence of her precious Lord and Savior. She had often mentioned that she was jealous that Jimmie was the first to arrive in Heaven and see Jesus! Lois is survived by her children, James Edward Sutton, Lila Jo Morton and husband Michael, Donald Lee Sutton, Brenda Jane Zepeda and husband Fernando, Linda Jean Alexander and husband Jerrold, John Henry Sutton and wife Ramona; daughter-in-law, Patsy Sue Sutton; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Jimmie Joe Sutton; great granddaughter, Alexis Breann Sutton; and all of her siblings. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank Oklahoma Hospice for the loving care they provided to Lois in her final days on earth, especially Crystal and Mona Lisa. Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at McLoud Riverside Cemetery in McLoud, Oklahoma.
