

Lois Lillian Ayres Morphis Vaughn Boydston passed away on July 9, 2023 at 4:03PM in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born on October 19, 1923 in Nuyaka, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of William Ayres and Mary Phillips Ayres. She graduated from Pharoah High School in Pharoah, Oklahoma. She enjoyed being a mother to her five children, was an active participant in her grandchildren’s lives and being a homemaker. Lillian was a member of Southern Oaks United Pentecostal Church for 65 years and enjoyed teaching the Junior Sunday School Class for 15 years. She was a faithful member of their Ladies Auxiliary and was actively involved in church fundraising projects. She will be remembered for her poetry, her love for the Lord and her family, faithfulness to her church and strong sense of humor. Lillian is survived by daughter Dena Clowe, her daughter Camey Clowe and her daughters Piper and Sage Barrett. She is also survived by son, Steven Vaughn and wife Nancy Vaughn and son Andrew Bohannon and his children Kelcee, Kylee, Linkin and Bricen Bohannon. Also her grandson, Kenneth Bellew and wife Becky Bellew and their children Seth and Jennifer Bellew. Also her grandchildren Garret and Grayson Cook, her niece Shirley Jones and children John and Justin Jones. Also her nieces Betty Decker, Jeanie Polston and Carol Green and great nephews James and David Ayres. Lillian was preceded in death by husbands Ralph Morphis, Willis Vaughn and Curtis Boydston, siblings: John Ayres, Leo Ayres, Raymond Ayres, David Ayres and Nella Ayres Fields, daughters Sharon Mikels, Karen Cook, Patricia Smith, granddaughter Kymberly Bellew, niece Patsy Ayres Goucher and nephew Gerald Ayres.
