Loraine Von Werder Kakaska

Loraine Von Werder Kakaska passed away May 27, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was born on July 29, 1931 in Van Nuys, CA to August and Helen Von Werder. She graduated from El Reno High School in 1949. She spent most of her years living in Dallas, Lawton, and Oklahoma City. Her last employment was with Neiman Marcus in Dallas where she indulged her love of style and fashion. She is survived by her children, Craig Eichholz and wife Debra, Cynthia Mollison and husband Richard, Dana Childress and husband Don; grandson's Nicholas Mollison and Jack Childress; sibling's Beverley Davenport and Andrew Von Werder; and many nieces and nephews. Loraine's greatest joy was her two grandsons. She loved to entertain them by playing games and watching movies with them as they were growing up. She loved being surrounded by friends, family and children, sharing stories with them. A special thank you to Dr. Valerie Manning; her close friend Loraine Anderson, and to those who cared for her. Services will be held 2:00pm, Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper. Interment will follow at El Reno Cemetery at 3:30.
