Louise Arlene "Sam" McFadden Hoffman, born to laugh, Sam loved her family, Missy, bingo, bazaars, garage sale hopping, singing Christmas songs, and exploring the taste of different restaurants. Never knowing a stanger, her friendship with people she had met from all over the world continued to this day to become warm relationships. Sam's laughter and love of life clearly shows in her son,. Fred E. Hoffmann, who survives her. All who knew her, know she is at peace, eager to climb the heavenly stairs to the new home that awaits her.
Sam was preceded in death by her parents Glenn Dale McFadden and Nellie May (Borne) McFadden, her brother Dale McFadden and her sister Virginia Proctor.
As well as her son, Fred Hoffmann surviving her, she is also survived by her granddaughter Holly Delorme.
A celebration of Sam's life will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 21, 2025 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Inurnment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
