Malinda O. "Lindy" Burnett, 81, of Midwest City, OK passed away March 30, 2010. The daughter of Henry Howell and Mahala (Gillespie) Casto was born August 13, 1928 in White Sulphur Springs, WV. Malinda was a loving wife, mother and homemaker whose family meant everything to her. Malinda was a member of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church in Midwest City, OK. She was an aspiring writer. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Henry Casto; and sister, Emma Grey Casto. Survivors include her husband Elmer Burnett; 2 sons: Dr. Steven Burnett of Arlington, VA; and Dr. William Burnett and wife Cynthia of Diamondhead, MS; 1 daughter Elizabeth and husband Chuck Lewis of Choctaw, OK; 1 sister Mary Lawhorn of White Sulphur Springs, WV; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to either the American Cancer Society or St. Christopher's Episcopal Church in her name. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, April 3, 2010 at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church with burial to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens in Midwest City, OK.
