Margaret L Lamb

Margaret Lee Lamb, 85, passed away on June 21, 2026 at 12:31 pm at Capitol Hill Nursing Home. She was the widow of Marland Dee Lamb, Sr. whom she shared 39 years of marriage until his passing in January 1995. She later remarried to Cleo Byrd in April 2010 until his passing in March 2019.

Born in Sulphur, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Ira Eugene Collins and May Ruth Collins-Lawson. Margaret obtained her G.E.D in January 1989. She was a homemaker as well as working outside the home at Integris Southwest Medical Center in environmental services as a housekeeper.

She was a member of Legacy Church which she enjoyed Bible study, sharing God’s word with her family, friends, and to all who would listen and receive. She will be remembered for her infectious smile, kind words, and the desire that all her family would know Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and make Heaven their home. She enjoyed getting together with her 4 sisters and one brother every chance she could. She enjoyed attending any, and all family events no matter the occasion.

She is survived by one daughter, Virginia Singleton and spouse, Dennis; Sons, Marland D. Lamb, Jr. and spouse, Sherry, and Ronald D. Lamb; Sisters, Leta Castleberry-Keck, Norma Akers, Brenda Moles, Ruth Ann Blanton; Brother, James Collins, and a host of grand, great grand, great-great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and many other family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ira Eugene Collins and May Ruth Collins-Lawson; Brothers, Ted Collins, Leroy Collins, Harold Collins; Sisters, Bonnie Penick and Peggy McCullum; Grandson, Tyler Lamb; Granddaughter, Melissa Davidson-Frey; Great great grandson, Jackson Wilson.

The visitation will be held on June 25, 2026 from 3 – 8 pm at Advantage Funeral Home located at 7720 S. Pennsylvania Ave, OKC, OK 73159.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026 at 1 pm at Sunny Lane Funeral Home Chapel located at 4000 S.E 29th St, Del City, OK with interment to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
