Maria Robles Kropp (Meyers) went to her final resting place on November 5, 2018. She was born in El Salvador on May 3rd, 1955 and moved to the United States as a young girl with her family. Although she only spoke Spanish when she arrived to the U.S., she persevered to master the English language and excelled in all levels of academia. Maria studied accounting at the University of San Francisco. She practiced as a CPA prior to earning a law degree at the University of Oklahoma and established her own law firm. Maria was known as a top specialized attorney in healthcare and employment law.
Maria was incredibly kind and generous; helping others was her vocation and passion. She will be remembered by the many lives she touched. Maria is survived by her husband Dave, son Michael Meyers, daughter Evelyn Lorents and her husband Edward. She is also survived by her mother, Emma Fenslau, sisters Elizabeth Quijada, Eva Rodriguez, and brother Henry Rodriguez. Additionally, nieces Elizabeth Quijada, Katharine Engen, nephew Roberto Quijada, step-children Julie Crowell and husband Dave, Kelly Kropp and wife Cici, and Maria’s grandchildren, Elliott and Ella Lorents, Megan Crowell, Kyra and Sofia Kropp, and Keven-Mykel Owens.
Services for Maria will be held on Friday, November 9th, at 3:00 p.m. at the Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral Home at 6600 N. Broadway Ext. in Oklahoma City. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Infant Crisis Services, Inc., which was incredibly dear to Maria’s heart.
