Marie L. Moser

Marie L. Moser, 90, passed away peacefully January 12, 2011. She was known simply as “Ree” by many of those she cared for. She is preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Elba L. Moser. Marie is survived by one son, Calvin Clint Moser and wife Virginia (Ginny) Moser of Edmond, OK. Also surviving her are one granddaughter, Stephanie Riggs of Dallas, Texas; two grandsons, Erick and wife Kasey Moser of Oklahoma City, OK and Travis and wife Ly Moser, of Los Angeles, CA. as well as a host of many nieces, nephews and others who loved her. Marie will always be remembered for the many wonderful meals she prepared and shared over her lifetime. She loved to cook and especially baked delicious pies, cakes, and cookies. If there is a place in Heaven for a wonderful cook, Marie will be a great addition to that Heavenly Kitchen! The family would like to thank the entire staff at Baptist Village Lackey Manor who cared for her the past nine years. We thank them not only for their care of Marie, but for the love they shared with her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your favorite charity, Alzheimer’s Research, or to Baptist Village Alzheimer’s Hall. Services for Marie will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday January 15, 2011 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. A visitation will also be held at Chapel Hill Funeral Home on Friday, January 14, from 3:00 – 8:00 pm.
