Marjorie Maxine Schultz

Mrs. Marjorie Maxine Schultz, known lovingly as Marjorie, passed away on July 13, 2026, in San Angelo, Texas, at the age of 94, following a life marked by devotion to family, faith, hard work, and the simple joys that brought her happiness.

Marjorie was born on May 23, 1932, in Omega, Oklahoma, where she began a life that would be shaped by resilience, kindness, and a strong sense of responsibility. She grew up with the values of honesty, perseverance, and care for others, qualities that remained with her throughout her life. She was a Christian and leaned on her faith as a source of strength and comfort through both joyful seasons and times of loss. Those who knew her will remember a woman of quiet dignity, steady love, and a gentle spirit.

She graduated from high school in Hitchcock, Oklahoma, and later attended some college at Antelope Valley College in Lancaster, California. Her education, along with her practical nature and willingness to serve, guided her through a variety of roles over the years. Marjorie worked as a Nurse’s Aide and later served as a secretary at Edwards Air Force Base in California. She was dependable and capable, and she took pride in doing her work well. In addition to her employment, she and her family also raised horses and ponies, a part of life that reflected her lifelong appreciation for animals and the outdoors.

Marjorie had a deep love for equestrian activities and especially enjoyed trail rides and pony-pulled wagons. She found peace and pleasure in camping and in watching wildlife, where she could enjoy the beauty of nature and the quiet moments it offered. She also loved having dog companions, and her affection for animals was one of the many ways she shared warmth and companionship with those around her. Her interests were not simply hobbies, but reflections of the life she valued, one that was active, connected to the land, and filled with meaningful experiences.

Family was central to Marjorie’s life, and she cherished each member of her family deeply. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Schultz, and her son, Ronald Schultz. She is survived by her son, Richard Schultz, and his wife, Janie; her grandchildren, Tracy Schultz and his wife Amber, Vincent Schultz and his wife Hollie, James Schultz, Caroly Perez and her husband Jovan, Sarah King and her husband Travis, and Sharon Schultz; and her 11 great-grandchildren, who brought her great joy and pride. She is also survived by her brother, Wendel Helton, and his wife, Barbara, and her sister, Phyllis Parker, and her husband, Darrel. Marjorie treasured the bonds she shared with her family, and her love for them was evident in the care, encouragement, and steady presence she offered throughout her life.

Marjorie will be remembered for her kindness, her strong work ethic, and her enduring love of family and country life. She lived in a way that reflected grace, humility, and appreciation for the blessings around her. Her life touched many, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Though she is no longer present in body, the example she set and the love she gave will remain a lasting comfort to her family and friends.

A visitation for Majorie will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Services will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
