Marsha Ann Billingsley

September 9, 1959 — September 1, 2023

Marsha Ann Billingsley died September 1, 2023, in Tecumseh at the age of 63 years old, just shy of her 64th birthday. Marsha was born September 9, 1959, in Pratt, KS to Mary Thelma Petete (McCasland) and Cecil Ray Petete. She was preceded in death by her father Ray and mother Mary, and sister Dayna. She was raised in Moore, graduating from Moore High School in 1977, and continued on at Oklahoma State University and then the University of Oklahoma where she earned her bachelor's degree in Accounting in 1984. On August 11, 1979, she married her high school sweetheart Kurtis “Kurt” Billingsley also from Moore, Oklahoma. Marsha worked as an Accountant for many years and then became a Contracts Administrator at Seagate Technology before retiring. She loved her family very much and enjoyed being a part of any function her husband and kids were involved in which even included a new grandbaby expected in 2024. She loved OU football and going to games with her daughter, gardening, sprint car races, drive in movies, swimming, traveling and spending time with her kids. She also enjoyed hanging out with Kurt and her boxer Miley, playing card games, reading books and playing games on her phone in her porch swing while enjoying a large Diet Coke.

Marsha is survived by her husband, Kurt of the home, Tecumseh; daughter, Blair Billingsley, Norman; son, Derek Billingsley and wife Sadie, California; grandchildren, Sailor and Sparrow; sister-in-law, Tracy Cook and Moose Lee; and many other relatives and friends. Marsha was a wonderful partner to Kurt of 44 years and an incredible mother to Blair and Derek and will be greatly missed by all who knew her!
