Mary Ann Theresa Simkins, age 94, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026. She lived a long and meaningful life, devoted to her family and those she loved.
She is survived by her beloved sister, Margaret Moser Wolnick. Mary Ann was a devoted mother and leaves behind her eight children: Rick Hoe, Mary Ellen Hicks, Michael Hoe, David Hoe, Carolyn Puckett, Mark Hoe, Ann Brown, and Andrea Dancer. Her legacy continues through her 20 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense pride and joy.
Mary Ann will be remembered for her strength, warmth, and the deep love she had for her family. She touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A service to celebrate Mary Ann’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 8701 NW Expressway, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, where loved ones may come together to share memories and honor her life.
