

Mary Cross, 94, Oklahoma City, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Oct. 30, 2015. Mary was born on Aug. 27, 1921, in Cook's Point, TX to Andrew & Chinkie Jones Taylor. She married Pat O. Cross on Nov. 27, 1947.
Mary's husband, Pat, was employed by Standard Oil Company of Texas (Chevron) for 28 years. They lived in Houston, Roswell, Midland and Denver and settled in Oklahoma City when Pat became a partner in Petroleum Land Consultants in 1977.
Mary's faith and family were the most important and driving force in her life. Mary loved to garden, fish at Lake Eufaula, and was an avid sports fan. She especially loved the Houston Astros. She was a member of Quail Springs Baptist Church. For the last 10 years, Mary attended "family dinner" once a week with her family, who adored her.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Andrea & Ed Bridges, of Georgetown, TX; one son and daughter-in-law, Mike & Cathy Cross, of Oklahoma City; granddaughters, Cadee Cross Coulter & husband Cale, of Oklahoma City; Whitney Cross Moore and her husband Jeff, Oklahoma City; Alex Cross Corp and her husband Collin, of Oklahoma City; five great-grandchildren, Patrick, Eloise, and George Coulter; Fletcher and Sam Corp; and one sister, Ann Taylor Kidd, of Fort Worth, TX. She has numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Louise Taylor Joiner, of Rockdale, TX; and Pauline Taylor Wallin, of Terrell, TX.
Memorial Services will be held at the Quail Springs Baptist Church, located at 14613 N. May Avenue in Oklahoma City, at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015.
