

Mary Irene Diaz, age 63, a resident of Chandler, OK for the past 35 years passed away at Stroud, OK. She was born Jan 16, 1948 to Edward Hull and Virginia Lee (Morelan) Moser. She grew up in Shawnee, OK and graduated from Midwest City High School in 1966. She worked in banking as a loan officer at Tinker Credit Union for over 20 years. She loved her grandchildren and they were the joy of her life; she spent her time watching OU football, making things with her arts and crafts and baking. She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister. Survivors include one daughter, Angie Sloan and husband Ronnie of MWC, one son, James Diaz and wife Angela Lynn of Edmond; three grandchildren: Brycen Diaz, Gavin Sloan, Breylan Diaz; one sister, Rene Ann Johnson and husband Carl of Choctaw; nephew Carl Johnson and wife Janine of Orlando, FL; niece Ann Smith and husband Chris; two great nieces: Jaiden and Kailey Smith of OKC; Randy Maxwell of Chandler and many other friends and loved ones. Mary will also be meeting and joining other loved ones. She was a loving and caring person who was always there if you needed her and would do anything she could to help others. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her. Services will be held on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 11:00am in Chandler, OK at First United Methodist Church with burial at Arlington Memory Gardens.
