After graduating high school, she met and married Robert (Bob) Hlubin. The pair would be inseparable for 52 wonderful years, welcoming their daughter Amanda to complete their family. While they still lived on the East Coast they would often attend various blue grass music festivals.
Mary was a woman of many talents. Handy with needle and thread, she made many of her own outfits and even attempted to make Bob his very own seersucker sport coat! She kept the family well-fed with excellent meals and every Christmas the house was decorated with her ever-growing collection of snow villages. When it came time to relax, you could find her out on the golf green or trying her luck at the casino. Mary was always willing to lend a helping hand, she even frequently volunteered to fundraise for Amanda’s school events, as well as the local hospital.
She is preceded in death by her parents Urban James and Cora Mae Roberts.
To remember her, she leaves behind her loving husband, Bob Hlubin of Yukon, OK; daughter, Amanda Hlubin of Edmond, OK; brother, John Keith Roberts of Stephensville, Virginia, and sister, Jean Wall of Raleigh, North Carolina.
