She attended Quitman schools in Arkansas until her family moved to Atwater, CA. She graduated from Merced Union High School, then attended Modesto Jr. College and graduated in 1957.
After college she became a stewardess for American Airlines from 1957-1960. While flying she was introduced to the man she would marry Robert L. Rollins "Bob". They wed on April 16, 1960 in Dallas, TX and were married 57 years. They made their home in Oklahoma City, OK.
She was involved with the Jacee Jones Organization early in her marriage and a long time member of the Kiwi Club. A group of retired women that were employed at American Airlines.
She traveled extensively with her husband and family and attended OU Sooner football games throughout the season.
She is survived by her son, Michael Rollins (Marsha) of Tulsa, OK, daughter, Dana Locker (Jim) of Loveland, OH. Grandchildren Ryan Rollins (Sabrina, great granddaughter Tilly - 1 mth old), Sydney Rollins, sister-in-law Gloria Rollins, all of Edmond, OK. Matt Locker and Polina Locker of Loveland, OH. Many nieces, nephews, great grandchildren.
Above all she treasured her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday October 27th at 11:00 - Hahn Cook Funeral Home, 6600 Broadway Ext. Oklahoma City, OK followed by a graveside service at Rose Hill Burial Park, 6001 NW Grand Blvd.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Children's Tumor Foundation (CTF) or the Autism Society.
