

Mary Jane "Janie" Taylor, 82, went to be with her Heavenly Father on October 3, 2013. Born on May 21, 1931 to W.H. & Mary O'Connor in Ponca City, OK. She graduated from Ponca City High School and then went on to graduate college from Stephens College in Columbia, MO. Janie brought a sparkle to many lives with her laughter, sweet smiles, and kind nature. She was gracious to all and a loyal, loving friend. She fiercely loved her family, and was especially supportive of her best friend and loving husband of 62 years, Robert Clark Taylor, Sr. Together they raised three children, Clark Jr, Mike, and Ward Taylor. The true love Janie and Clark shared for each other was an inspiration to all who knew them. Among many other hobbies, they especially enjoyed travelling the world together. Janie dedicated her life to serving the Lord and had been a faithful member of All Souls Episcopal Church in Oklahoma City. Over the years, she actively served with Stephens Ministries, and was chairman to the Alter Guild at All Souls Episcopal Church. She left a legacy, role modeling goodness and generosity for generations to come. Janie is survived by her husband Clark.
Children, Robert Clark Taylor, Jr. of Austin, and Mike (Jamie) Taylor of Oklahoma City, and Ward (Yana) Taylor of Houston.

A Funeral Service will be held at All Souls Episcopal Church in Oklahoma City on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 10:00 am. An Interment Service will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Ponca City, OK on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 2:00 pm. Donations may be made to All Souls Episcopal Church.
