Mary M. Tyree, 81, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2010 in Oklahoma City. She was born on May 29, 1929 in Oklahoma City to Lon Erickson and Fern Bradford Erickson. She attended Capitol Hill High School and graduated in 1948. She married her high school sweetheart in 1950 and devoted the rest of her life to her family. She enjoyed attending OU football games, playing bingo, raising flowers and cooking for the family gatherings on holidays. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters; Lucile, Eileen, Annie, and Jean, and 1 grandson, Toby Tyree. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Charles Tyree, daughter Leisa Huddleston & husband Richard, son Michael Tyree and wife Cathy, 5 grandchildren; Amy Winkler and husband Chris, Myranda McCulloch and husband Joshua, Ryan Huddleston, Katie Huddleston, Ashley Tyree, 6 great-grandchildren; Maddison Winkler, Brendan Winkler, Courtney Winkler, Chloe Winkler, Lilyanna Lamar, Chase Lamar, cousins; Charles Erickson, Leota Brown, nieces; Doris King, Lonna Stewart, nephews; David Stewart and Rick Stewart.
