My dear brother-in-law I will miss you greatly!  During your 2 month illness I was daily reminded of just how precious you were without you having to say a single word.  Your life impacted so many people with love and acceptance.  Thank you for being such a strong, caring part of my life for more than 35 years. Oklahoma City Pianists Club sends our condolences Max' family.  Max was a faithful member of the club for many years, and will be missed by the members who knew him and enjoyed his playing.

How appropiate that even at the end of his earthly life, Max's love for music as well as his love for God have been so beautifully extended to all who were privileged to attend today's precious service. Realizing you have lost a friend as well as a brother, I am sending  much love to you and condolences to your family.

Dear Mary and Landon, Lucie and I regret that we dod not know Max personally, but from what you have told us, he was a wonderful friend and brother to you.  May the Lord comfort you and the rest of your family in this time of loss and mourning, and remember, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be ccomforted."

Max, my great friend since marching band at Central State University in 1973. We had, and have, Jesus in common, and encouraged each other in the good fight of faith. We grew in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. You played at my wedding; we made music together; you were "Uncle Max" to my daughters. You helped me get my first teaching job at OCS; I love you and look forward to being reunited!

Sorry to hear about Max's passing, but rejoicing that he will not longer have to suffer. We still remember how he played the theme from "Star Trek" at brother Eldon's funeral.

To the family of Max Payne.  Max was a long time friend and dearly loved.  I will always miss hearing him play his piano.  Since my family and I moved from Oklahoma his house was always open to us whenever we came back home.  He was a big man with a big heart. Max is now in Heaven and will be missed by everyone who knew him, but will never be forgotten in the hearts of the Hedges Family!

Max Payne was a great, compassionate man.  He loved the Lord and cared about many people.  We may miss him, but Heaven must be a happier place with him there.  Cousin, Nita Payne

To the family of Max "White Chocolate" Payne. Me and my family feel the loss of a dear sweet soul. I had to tell my 13 year old today, and all he could talk about is how Max always told our family how much he loved us. I will miss his voice, just everything.
