Obituary of Michael L. Epperson
Michael Loren Epperson, 60, passed away in his home in Midwest City on Thursday, July 28, 2022. Michael was the youngest of four children, born to parents William H. Epperson, Jr. and Mary Ellen (Finney) Epperson on February 8, 1962. Michael often cited the year 1980 as the year he gave his heart and life to the Lord, and he lived his life as a dedicated, born-again Christian. He married Laurie Ann Smith in 1989, the couple bore two sons together. He studied ministry at Rhema Bible Training College in Broken Arrow and pastored at Churches as a young man in the 80s. He also received an education from Rose State College and Oklahoma State University. He was a multitalented person who has worked as an electrician, paramedic, police officer, truck driver, and even was a published author of the novel "The Brandywine Boys." His final career was as an electrician for Harris Electric. Mike's favorite things in life were Bible study, writing, reading, fishing, storm-chasing, and fine dining. He made friends everywhere he went in life and was loved and treasured by family and friends alike. Michael was preceded in death by his father; his brother, William Epperson, III; and one sister, Nancy Carol Epperson. He is survived by his two sons, Brian Epperson and Christopher Epperson; his mother; his sister, Debbie Gail (Epperson) Hilbern; and his long-time partner, Candace Moredock. Services will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Eisenhour Funeral Home, Midwest City, Oklahoma at 10:00AM and Michael will be laid to rest at Arlington Memorial Gardens in Midwest City.
