Michael Wesley Morton

He was born in OKC, OK Oct 4th, 1954. He was the son of Gerald Wesley and Glenna Faye (Harrison) Morton.

He joined the Marine Corps for a short period after graduating from Harrah High school in 1972. He was a glass installer for Central Glass until he retired in 2015.

Mike married Nellie Thiessen-Hillstead in 2015. He loved fishing, camping, working in the yard and spending time with his family. He got a kick out of being called Grandpa Grape.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Gerald Allen and a stepdaughter, Tammy Sourjohn.

Mike is survived by his wife, Nellie Thiessen-Hillstead of Harrah OK, a brother, Brian Morton of Harrah OK, 3 sisters, Melissa Thorton and her husband James of Harrah OK, Glenda Wright of Guthrie OK, Linda Cox and her husband Glenn of Enid OK. Daughter Jamie, 2 step- daughters Teresa Thiessen and her husband David of Harrah OK and Traci Skinner of Harrah OK. 5 step grandchildren, Jacob, Derek, Dylon, Destiny and Maddison (Fizzi). 7 step great-grandchildren, Matthew, Jase, Bentley, Ozzy, Kaylee, Lucy and Kisley; and many loving family members and friends.

A service of remembrance will be held Saturday May 14th, at 12 PM at Life Tabernacle, 2100 S Eastern Ave, Moore OK 73160.
