

He was born to the late John and Dora Walker, February 7, 1914 in Moyers, Oklahoma. He was married to the late Viola Walker November 22, 1932 and they remained married until her death in January of 2006.
Mignon retired from The Champlain Refining Company in 1976. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Nicoma Park dating back to 1949.
Mignon was preceded in death by his wife Viola, his youngest son James Jay and his older brother James Thurman. He is survived by sons Mignon Blake Walker and wife Barbara of Midwest City, Tommy Thurman Walker and wife Louella of Moore, John David Walker of Tulsa, and daughter –in-law Sherry Walker of Dallas, TX; fourteen grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mignon liked to entertain the children in the family and lived to enjoy four generations of the family. He was kept strong by the hard work he did as an adult and after retiring he was well known for his workouts of running in his neighborhood through his sixties and into his seventies and long walks during his eighties and nineties. He will be greatly missed.
